To me AULRO is more than a forum, it is a family. People are always there when one of the members need help or is going trough a rough patch.
In my case I am more that happy to increase the cost of my subscription but it will help if I can pay it in quarter of every 6 months instead of 1 payment a year.
Let me know Dave if it is possible.
I am ready to help in any way that I can if it is needed, take care.

he is a global mod in all general areas so would be automatically added to an area that may or may not have been hanging off general for what ever reason

if you can't see it then it doesn't exist in your sphere of influence one would suspect.

lots of things have been created and used for testing the new permissions scheme and most have been burned.

just to confirm what I think is implied.....

are ALL subscriptions due NOW regardless of how much residual one has?

it doesn't bother me if it is......I will renew anyway.

would not want to lose this.....it's a part of my life.

Hope all is well with your health Dave, I too had a serious health scare late last year. I think the small cost of the subscription is the way things have to go these days. When you consider the wealth of knowledge and access to information/products available here it is only a very small price to pay. When you get on the internet and google something like a vehicle or appliance fault you are often directed to an "expert" on the subject and then requested to pay a fee for the advice which is usually more than the subscription for this site. So I don't think what you are proposing is unreasonable at all. I can hardly imagine what it costs you to maintain and run this site.

As a subscriber I don't think a lot will change for me. Hopefully there will be enough access for new users to realise that a subscription is worth every cent paid.

I think your new pricing is extremely fair and reasonable. I'd be happy to pay 10 times what I currently pay to subscribe to this brilliant forum. The amount of information, and not just about Land Rovers, that I have obtained from here is staggering.

Dave, do whatever you have to do to keep it running. You and all the mods do a fantastic job, and stressing about keeping it running should be off your list.

sorry, i have no idea how you get to that conclusion.

NONE OF THIS WILL AFFECT CURRENT SUBSCRIBERS ON THE SYSTEM.

nothing is due now unless it was already expiring now anyway.

nothing has been moved forward or altered for current subscribers
