    The point-and-shoot camera doesn't do much but here's the pic from 5 minutes before totality:

    I missed the lunar eclipse, but I take photos of the moon when it looks "different", these are over the past few weeks
    Photos all handleld with point and shoot Canon SX50 HS , a sub $500 camera that takes the best moon photos , Actually its a bloody good all round camera.

    I thought it would be all over by now but after reading the post I popped out to see the semi eclipse still in progress, from Charters Towers just a few mins ago


    Same camera but this one tripod mounted. not enough light for handheld shot
