When did the first LR get Air-Con?

All this talk of improving AC got me thinking. When was the first landrover factory fitted (or even aftermarket fitted) with air conditioning?

The 2 door Rangie could have underdash "Khrysler" aircon from memory as an optional extra, similar set up as fitted to Chrysler Valiants and larger Dodge sedans and Holdens

Agree, my 81 RRC had a locally fitted a/c unit with a nice molded lower dash fascia with vents in it that replaced the factory lower half.

Normalair provided an aftermarket air conditioner designed specifically for the series land rover in the mid 1960's.

The oldest Landrover I have seen with factory AC in Australia was 1984.
