Funny about Government cars.
I often seem to see NSW Railways utes doing far over the speed limit.
Maybe they are compensating for the speed of their trains.

I wonder why people admit to breaking a law on any type of media. If anything were to happen and past admissions of bad behavior are found , then no clemency should be shown. Easier to obey the legislation and let those who are willingto contribute their hard earned. Not that all limits and conditions are perfect but thems the rules.Would be nice to see cameras in school zones , not just for speedsters , but moms and dads dragging the littlies across the road wherever they feel like and not the crossings.
I've got a Series 2A- can't break the speed limit.
Month or so ago round here they held a widely advertised blitz on stop signs at railway crossings (a lot of these round here, with fairly infrequent trains). Apparently a big revenue raiser, but now the locals tend to stop a lot more frequently than they used to. This followed on some very expensive engine and track repairs after a train hit a load of hay and caught fire about six months ago.

The Gold Coast end of the M1 has an 80k zone due to roadworks.
It absolutely astounds me the number of vehicles that go through that section at 110k's.
Do they deliberately disregard the rules,or do they not see the signs?
Dunno, but one day they will get their pockets lightened.
I drive for work,so there is no way i can afford to speed.
If in a hurry i drive by the speed on the street finder,as the work van speedo reads around 5% faster than actual,as with most modern vehicles.
I was under the impression that all heavy vehicles including coaches were supposed to be governed to 100k/h. Coming back up the Hume highway yesterday I found most were doing 110 or higher
