Thread: 100 years of ANZAC

For those interested the Centenary of Anzac sunset ceremony is on ABC news 24 in 1 hour,that is 6.30pm Wait Awilst time.
Im looking forward to watching it.

No mate a white D4.We didnt go to Albany,couldnt get suitable accomodation unfortunately.

The silver defender may be mine, a 110. There is a silver 90 around town as well.
The sunset service was very good followed by a light / storytelling show projected onto the side of the entertainment centre. There are big screens placed around town with linked audio as well so wherever you are you get to see the event. In the interval between the two events a rather unfortunate/amusing moment took place when one of the guys working on the sound was getting somewhat frustrated and didn't realise he had a 'live' microphone. A couple of short sentences getting annoyed with a bloke named Terry followed by the immortal line, which was broadcast to the whole town through the linked PA system, "oh what the f**k is happening". I bet his career in media has been cut short by that one.
Today saw a military parade through the town as well as a commemorative service at the peace park. Then this arvo seven warships sailing line astern around King George Sound. All pretty good so far and the town is heaving.

Are I believe I passed you on the way out to whalers cove you have personal plates nice looking truck. Have to agree it has been a top event, looking forward to this evening
