Talking Well it appears ford have a new 4x4..... well rock crawler actually

Minding my own business just after Kianda in the snowys, I came across this..

I reckon the D4 would climb up there nicely..... but looking at the bits of shredded Falcon under carriage along his entry path, I'd say this fella, got up there a little quicker than I'd prefer ...

To give you a hint how he did it.. you just need to look back down the road....

No one around and airbags had not gone off much to my surprise...... under the car was pretty battered around though.

how on earth did that happen?
From the angle of the second picture, the road looks fantastic, left curve, over the bridge, right curve up the rise

bet thats good for 140 (on a closed road due to blind crest)

I'm not surprised that the air bags didn't go off. My understanding is that they are designed to protect the occupants from the effects of impacts involving quite severe deceleration.

I would have thought that gradually scraping away parts of the underneath of the car would be quite an effective way of gradually reducing the speed, thus reducing the forces involved.

They are going to need a creative tow truck driving to get that down.
