    Just bought a Cheap Fridge.
    Engel MRFT- 540C

    Can anyone tell me if this will freeze??

    yes it should if you set to 6 or 7.

    however it will run a lot longer(almost constantly).
    so if its running off your battery it will flatten it a lot quicker.


    a good idea is to freeze bottles of water and throw them in an esky.

    then you have a fridge and a freezer while you are away.



    of course this only works if you take the fridge AND the esky.

    I'm trying to find the wiring diagram of the power cord as some twit cut the ciggy plug off.

    Forget the ciggy plug. 2mm if you are lucky 8O

    Wire direct from the battery to a new point with 6mm wiring (fused) and mind the polarity.

    The rest is easy.
