The secret is out....
I'm allowed to say it now.......
The Dunsfold Collection has achieved charitable status
Maybe it will now be possible to find finance for a permanent home where they can be exhibited.
The Trustees of The Dunsfold Collection are proud to announce that we have been granted Charitable Status by The Charity Commissioners.
We are keen to safeguard our wonderful and unique collection of Land Rovers and Range Rovers and our ambition for the Collection is to be able to display our 134 vehicles, 2,000 models and over 10,000 pieces of archive material and photographs in a museum building so that they can be seen and enjoyed by you and the public regularly.
We are grateful to Jaguar Land Rover for their support in preparing and publicising a Press Release announcing our Charitable Status which will be published this week and to Dr Ralf Speth, the Chief Executive of JLR for adding his words of support for The Dunsfold Collection.
We are appealing to Land Rover lovers worldwide for their charitable financial support for our project to purchase a building in England with public access, in which to house our remarkable Collection and in particular to you, the Friends of the Collection, who have contacts whom you can make aware of our project and who will become supporters and benefactors.
Our new website will be launched to coincide with the press release.
