A deffer gave me a thumbs up on a big hill up from the Yarra at Richmond to Kew.

Several Hundred other very polite people (drivers) did not try to kill me over a three hour trundle.

Ok they may have been chuckling at the nut sweating like a but it was a nice ride. The Bike path along the eastern freeway had me pulling up for dogs, walkers and runners- its shared. we some times whine about the silly buggers who do not have any courtesy or respect for other people. 3 hours tonight suggests to me the idiots are happily a minority (bike or car types )

Yes and no.

It is true that the cyclist would have been just as dead if the vehicle had actually run over him, regardless of the reason it happened. In that respect it is true that the video shows a dangerous piece of driving.

However, it is quite dishonest to describe it as road rage. The video was deliberately edited to support that misleading label. The video showed only part of the story and the number of outraged relies on this forum proves that it very effectively conveyed the dishonest message about the driver's actions.
