Watch the video,instead of doing CPR she rings for a drone,nobody touched the guy at all,she then wasted more time she doesn't have running out of the building to pick the stupid thing up,unless he's in VT or VF it's more time wasted as it will say no shock advised,all this time and effort on a wonder drone when simple CPR would keep the blood circulating until proper medical services arrive. yes they can handle high winds. upto 60km/h for some drones.

some of the technology is there, just expensive.

It's a great idea but the fact remains, CPR ring 000 and don't stop until professional help arrives. Sorry fellers, not happening. If you don't believe ME go to the CASA website and look up the RPA section. Look at the list of registered companies flying RPAs and see what they list as there core business. Not one single emergency, book or pizza 'drone'

You are right, things will change over time. My personal belief is that it won't be in my working life time. But I'll concede, who knows. But I am quite certain when I say that it's only going to get tougher to operate RPAs. CASAs review is concerned only with safety. And they have significant concerns. All those people that have bought helicams such as the DJI Phantom and NOVA CX-20 are going to find them made illegal soon. And if you are operating those 'toys' now for profit such as aerial photography for real estate agents it's a completely different set of rules. There are two bodies at play here. CASA on safety and the new privacy laws about to come into force shorty. Its a very complex issue.Quote:
