The engine is in, the fruits not boltedd up but its got a couple of bolts holding it to the Bellhousing, the torque converter is bolted up to the flex plate and its sitting on its mounts with the bolts sitting loosely in the holes.

theres nix more that I can do till the parts roll in and the owner does form and fit for the bolts to identify any that have managed to be lost as part of the strip down work I wsnt there for.

Bob, I might need you to do a rush pickup from MR for bolts and bits on friday.

Killer, Im hoping to have it ready to start on saturday, if you could bring up the nanocom for us so the injectors can be coded in and clear faults that would be plenty of help.

V8Ian, Cheers for the help today, work goes a lot quicker and easier when you have an offsider that youve worked with before who knows the tooling and just how much "just a smidge" is.

Hi Dave, the oil cooler on the existing engine is only a few months old May this year and Gen Land Rover, so might be worth swap over to replacement.

no choice really, no cooler or housing on the new engine.

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

I checked our invoices and it was bought in May 2014, brand new and genuine Land rover part, he needed the entire housing and matrix, as the housing was shot and a matrix kit wouldn't have worked . presume it was fitted, unless this is a new vehicle?
