Where to buy lard in Melbourne?

A crisis is looming... Lard seems to be getting hard to get!

Allowrie foods have stopped making Lard - I even rang them myself and they confirmed that they have stopped production due to low demand. So, as they were the only bulk manufacturers of this product, there seems to be none in any of the supermarkets any more. Woolies still show it online, but it's not available for purchase. No store I've been in has any left on the shelves.

Short of buying the fat at a butchers and rendering it myself (which I don't want to do) does anyone know of and specialty shops I can walk into any buy Lard? I wouldn't have thought it was that hard, but I've had no luck.

I can order it online but they can't guarantee delivery before Christmas. If I don't find any, then there's going to be no mince tarts or pork pies this Christmas! That would be a tragedy!
If you need to contact me please email homestarrunnerau@gmail.com - thanks - Gav.

A true tragedy. I have a full pack in the fridge if you need it. I won't need it just yet.

Would duck fat work? That's readily available in supermarkets.

Yeah when i asked my brother if they had any lard at work he replied with they use duck fat, different texture and taste so might not be suitable.
