They don't seem to put much effort into things, I bet the creeks/rivers dropped quite a while ago now (heavy rain was at the start of Dec)Campground and road closures - Deua National Park Due to recent floods and ongoing wet weather we are advising the public that Bendethera campground is closed and may remain closed over the coming Christmas holiday period. High water levels in the river have made it impossible for staff to make an assessment on the safety of the 3 crossings in the valley. Merricumbene, Dry Creek and Oulla Creek fire trails are closedand will remain closed until inspections can be carried out by NPWS staff. Dry Creek campground will also remain closed until further notice. Further access updates will be will be issued on Wednesday 24/12/14. If they had their way nobody would be allowed into a national park, they seem the forget they are managing the land on behalf of the people of Australia.
