This forum would only get a 10th of its current posts if every thread stayed on topic...

Believe it or not, I am a member of a few 4x4 forums. A Canadian one I am on has the rule that all posts regarded as trolling will be removed . [ and it's a great forum to be involved with, no backbiting or arguing allowed] I have joined in the frivolity of posts here on occasion, & had a great laugh. However, there are a few who seem to like to push the limit. I know I over react at times, but there is a reason for that. That won't happen again. So, I say with respect, a serious post should be taken seriously, at least until it runs out of steam. Then humour should be allowed. There is a difference between humour, and your post. Intended malice, or suggested malice, no place here. I say this with no bad feelings, just a suggestion. Bob

Suggestion noted, but if you think I'm trolling, then report my post/s. The Mods - with me excluded - will make a decision on if they believe I am or not and take what action they deem necessary. Believe me when I tell you that being a Mod myself in no way protects me from the rules of this forum, or from being infracted or warned when needed - it has happened in the past with me. I'm a personal believer that humour can be used almost anywhere, so I don't believe it's out of place here. But that's just my opinion, you are well entitled to your own.

Again, my posts weren't meant to wind anyone up, and I apologise if they have been taken that way. I was just having my say on the subject is all.

Thanks, mate. Just having my say, that's all. I appreciate your advice, but I have never dobbed any one in to the teacher. I ask you, how many members have started their posts here with the words " don't flame me". Let's try to have a different mind set , and all of us think before we post. [ myself included] could make a much better site. Now, back to the important stuff, Bob

    Great sketch.

There's 2 hours of the flying circus on tonight on Studio (Foxtel) for those that have it and want a laugh.

Apparently when a tsunami is imminent all land rovers stop leaking oil, however their owners are too busy ****ting themselves to notice and thus this information has never been verified

A bit just left of topic, I think the bigger issue will be if we do get adequate warning (which is still not going to be long) how do we get an effective message out to everyone.
There have been a few tsunami warnings in Sydney over recent years, I would bet that probably 90% of the population never knew about them.
