My boys, aged 8 and 10, love the 20/20, but I just can't get into it. I just hope as they get older they appreciate the nuances of test cricket. Anyone who saw Mitchell Johnson's performance in the boxing day test, and especially "that wicket" will know what I mean. Watching a bowler set up a batsmen over several overs and then bowl an inswinger at pace is an absolute joy. Glenn McGrath was my favourite with the way he would chip away at a batsmen, give them nothing and then take out middle stump or have them caught behind. Yep, I'm a cricket tragic, but for me the best thing about xmas is the boxing day testand gotta say the radio commentary is way better than the guys on tv. Miss Kerry, very sad day when he hung up the mike, also very funny when he sang out "five nil" after the ashes victory last year, which I think was his last stint on the wireless. Looking forward to the scg test, spewing I'll be back at work, but at least I have a radio. No beers though
