Subscriptions are what pay for the forum to continue. Grumbling about a $11 annual cost is like buying a Land Rover and letting it rot in the back yard because you're too broke to buy the fuel. If a timely answer to a question on the forum has saved you more than the subscription even once you are better off than having not joined. I'm sure the "I only want free advice" people can go elsewhere for their answers.

it amazes me that someone would not be willing to pay 92 cents a month to have the wealth of information and experience available on this forum . The advice of where to buy the correct component could save that much in one hit !!! ill be sticking around and I pay 9 x 11

sad to see anyone go but there really was no other way to keep it afloat in the long run...

i put thousands upon thousands into the place over the years so i don't think $11 is to much to be asking..

people want access, pay nothing, and still use adblockers to deny any chance of recouping costs and making enough to maintain and grow and expect it to carry on as it did.

sadly you can't have your cake and eat it too forever ...

we are still tweaking where the balance will be but so far there have been way more supporting than deserting.

    cheers

you should be able to read, not post, in both pinnacles and technical chat

i suggest you empty your browser cache

i might go do the same on the server in case it is screwing it up...

I didn't even realise this change was happening, I was quite oblivious to it all really (due to my own fault and the way I use the forums).

Once I realised what was going on, I'm happy to pay the $11 (going to see how it goes before diving for $27.50). I've saved hundreds by getting help on these forums and doing stuff myself rather than paying a mechanic.

    Thanks for the site
