    Came across these pics on overland.co.za. Good site .. lots of info on overland travel in Africa.

    I know from experience that most of these guys probably had no choice but to wade. This is often the case when traveling through Africa where there is no reliable source on road conditions and sometimes only one choice of road ... unless you fancy a 5 hour back track. :wink:

    Pitty about the guy in the last pic that didn't look hard enough and see the road and bridge in the background 8O unless he thought he was a submarine [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif[/img]

    That's a good pix of a bow wave in pix no.2. Are you sure he hasn't got a blind? There appears to be something coming back over the front mudguards.
