Wind is now a stiff SE cool breeze which will push the fire back towards One Tree Hill and some big patches of scrub unless they can get some bombers in this morning.

I'd settle for throwing the incinerator at him, still lit.

edit: the guy with the incinerator claims it wasn't the cause of the fire, a broken bottle was found at the ignition point.

ive just returned from overnight strike team. managed to save a house in the southern division
overall its looking a lot better.
lots of hotspots, candles, and crowning in a few areas but its no long "out of control"

i think its time to go to bed

To all in SA stay safe with the nasty fires.
Shame to see a boarding kennel and cattery lost yesterday, all cats and a lot of dogs lost at the Tea Tree Gulley facility. Several houses lost.
I have friends from the Murray Bridge CFS down their fighting the fires. Stay safe.
Hope all SA members are safe.

Good luck to all in the way of these terrible fires.

Remember best to run away and fight another day with these things.
