    What is the cheapest way to transport a vehicle from Perth to Brisbane?

    Just looking for some suggestions from people who may already have gone down this route and can offer some advice for transporting a Hyundai i30 from Perth to Brisbane. Preferably with the ability to load some items in the vehicle. I have done the usual internet search and obtained some quotes. However, I would be interested to hear from others who may have already done this, as to the things to look out for as well as the companies that provide the best service at a reasonable cost

    If you have a bit of time one of the boat moving companies would be cheapest of the car carriers I found CEVA to be good. I moved a ferret scout car from WA to Sydney last year the boat company was 1/2 the price of CEVA but there was a couple of weeks wait for a truck with space. Had to go with CEVA as there was a time problem in my case

    If you know someone in the car trade speak to them about a backload to the eastern states. A lot of the time the car carriers are going back virtually empty.

    I had my 130 Defender transported by a firm that did the delivery of new Mitsubishis to Perth.

    Not sure if they go to Brissy but maybe worth a call or two
