Sounds likely - I had gone with 'are new'
Check the wheels spin true and the face between wheel and rotor is clean
Tombie, they are the CTS type.
I can't understand it being brake problem when my old sixteen inchers ran true.
First trick is to have the front wheels rebalanced.
I should point out that these wheels and tyres are not brand new . They came off a disco which is being wrecked out. They are nearly new as far as tred goes.
Regards Nick.

coming from two previous D's with 16's I can tell you Tombie the ride with 18's is crap.
I am obviously not talking handling.
My previous D with 16's also had ACE and went around things just as well,,
the ONLY advantage 18's have, as far as I'm concerned, is less sidewall movement towing,
which is also the direct cause of the crap ride.
can anyone say catch 22?

Had all four wheels balanced today. All my wobbles have gone away.
Drives now like it is on welded rails.
Tyre guy owns a Range Rover and recommended 40 psi all around.
Seems right on the road.
Thanks to everyone who gave responses.
Regards Nick.
