Isuzu 3.9 diesel in LR 110
I am trying to find a source of information about the above, in particular, how this hybrid came into being, and its' subsequent history, and whether turbocharging has been tried. I do not know of any here in Canada, yet.

In australia the Isuzu 3.9l diesel was offered in the stage one and county (110) models alongside the regular V8.
It was a factory instillation. The Australian army also use these engines in there modified perentie 110 land rovers. In the perentie 6x6 models the same engine is used with a turbocharger.
