    lots of precautions are in place right up the coast.

    we'll cop it twice , once from the trough , then the cyclone.

    getting pretty wet now. huge seas and windy.

    BOM radar already showing steady rain on the Sunshine Coast. Predictions of up to 300 mm over 24 hours, which is a lot of rain. I feel for poor old Bundy if it gets hammered again.

    Yeah just rain and a bit of wind here, but as stated we are going to cop it twice probably No power is the worst as we rely on it for our water, so no showers or loo off to put big bucket under overflowing water tank..

    Bundy is getting consistent rain ATM and a little bit of wind. Nothing to get too excited about (yet).

    I am due to head off to Ensham Mine (Blackwater area) on Monday for a few weeks so we will see how wet things are next week

    Our daughter and their family are battened down in a CAT4 rated house in Gapuwiyak. The NT cyclone is expected to cross the coast between them and Milingimbi tonight. Thankfully it was downgraded from a Cat 4 to a 3 this afternoon.

    Elcho Island is presently copping a battering presently.
