Yes, that and the fact that I can't contact him had me a bit worried. Hopefully all is well and he will get back in contact shortly.

He offered to come up to Hamilton and fix the car,,,,

seems like his long weekend is quite timely

He posted on the FaceBook page yesterday so it must just be you he doesn't want to talk to.

roving in the instant communication age

It's an intriguing contrast isn't it? ...finding the contemporary balance between expecting instant replies across so many media these days vs the inherent, yet under subscribed, wandering approach to life that our Land Rovers engender! ...afterall, to 'rove' is to wander, to discover, to be open to what we might encounter, yet the modern world fosters expectations of such lightening speed communication, being always in touch and the ever diminishing opportunity to escape the pressures of busy lives - that it's somehow not ok anymore to be simply out of touch! It's no judgement on anyone, simply an insidious aspect of modern life to constantly negotiate!

It's been far too long since I had the pleasure of catching up with JC, since I'm not living in tassie at the moment. But knowing him, he's having a well earned few days off! ... A more knowledgeable, professional, helpful, generous and genuine human being than JC it would be very hard to meet. ...Hope he and the fam are having a wonderful break! ...'roving', somewhere off the grid!

    Cheers all, happy long weekend!
