Looks like it should be a good day out. My wife contacted them to find out what was on for kids and the local primamry school are running 'traditional games'. Not sure how mine will cope if it doesn't need power or internet access.......

I could show up and shape some surfboards without using a computer. Hand crafting back in demand apparently.

    Kyneton mightn't be ready though.

Great day out, went on Saturday. Some displays were difficult to see as there were thousands of people but worth the trip. If you wanted something to eat or drink around lunch time there was a long queue at most outlets. Saw quite a few Landies in the car park and around the town, Disco 2's 3's and 4's and Rangies new and old. Plus 6 Defenders..... one was a G4

Just got back and same situation today......difficult to get close to some stands and the wait for food was a pain when you have young kids.

    Overall a great day though.....

While not exactly the same as the one in this thread, there's some with some old school crafts around in/around Sydney coming up:

Or, if you want to stock up on beer first, I can send up my brother for a while. He's a blacksmith by trade.

Lou, make the trek down south next year. I only live and hour and a half from Kyneton and there is always a bed at my place. (and vanilla slices)

I wish we had a steam train day like you had recently, which I just found out about. I will be treking up north for this.
    Dave.

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."
