Not Murchison area and it is in the Pilbara. Part of a 7-8 km gorge system not in a national park and close to a previous Pilbara photo. I would love to take a few people on a tour of these areas before they are destroyed.....
Fortescue River, Hamersley Gorge.
Hamersley is probably too popular, what about Gregory Gorge?
IMHO the Pilbara area is far more spectacular than the Kimberley. I'd love to get back there again and explore some of the more remote areas but it's a long way from the eastern states.

200+km east of Hammersley Gorge by road. Last time I was there, there were exploration pegs in the gorge. Low iron ore prices may just save some of these incredible places.
