Capertee Valley
I think we covered most now:D
Actually Baz you both missed the Grose Valley, Roger jumped north two valleys. :o
However Roger does have it, Wolgan Valley. The picture was taken looking east from the Old Coach Road, which is part of the Glow Worm Tunnel loop walk from the Newnes Road.
The attached is a more familiar view from the Baal Bone Gap Road. The first cleft in the wall on the right of the photo leads to the Glow Worm Tunnel, the cleft to the left of that is the path of the Old Coach Road.
Over to you Roger :D
Cheers
Mike
I thought of the Rose Valley after I posted Burralow but the Grose has more cliff like walls and I was also thinking of somewhere you may have camped. There wasn't much to go by in your photo, although the clues in the accompanying text helped somewhat.
Lets try this one now - most Sydney based members will have been within 10 meters of this but may not have been aware of it. :D

Not much response in the last eight hours so here's another 'graph at the same location - moybe not a lot of help but shows a little more detail of what is there.

A second 'graph posted with original as a bit of a clue to try and get this moving a bit.
The cave and overhang look like the one at the end of the Glow Worm Tunnel off behind the zig zag railway near Lithgow
The "Cave Hotel" near Mt Tomah, I've never been there, but you'd be correct I've driven past.
My son and I were only talking about it a few days ago. Apparently it will go if the current road widening proposal goes ahead.

That's the one - no sign of grog ever having been served there but evidence of aboriginal occupation.
It would be a pity if it went with the road widening. Maybe they could fill on the other side instead of cutting the cave away.
You'd better stop soon and have a look, just in case it does go.

This is also the site of a clue to a multi part geocache named 'The Division Bell' GC2110 just incase anyone here is into geocaching.
Here's the name on the rock near the entrance.
