Ok. Thanks Extreme. You are right. I should have picked that a lot earlier!

Where am I now?

This is a popular crossing as depicted by the curved line of rocks. The water is low at the moment but the crossing is generally always useable.

I'm after the name of the crossing and the track that it is associated with but the name of the river and the nearest locality would do the trick as well.

The crossing over the Macquarie at Long Point?

The Bridle Track at Turon Xing Reserve south of Hill End?

Not Long Point although that's not so far away and on the same river.

Extreme was closer with the Turon Crossing Reserve. That's the correct track but the crossing is actually further east (upstream and the other river) from Turon Crossing Reserve

Hmmmm ........ As the Bridle Track doesn't cross the Macquarie River I guess it would most likely be the Root Hog Track Xing where it meets the Bridle Track.

BTW, the Root Hog Track is closed at the moment. Apparently someone upset some of the property owners. I believe a bypass track has been surveyed but constructed has not yet commenced.

You gave some fairly explicit clues and there's not many places where you can cross the Macquarie River without a bridge. IMHO though it's good that these don't drag on too long.
BTW, last time I crossed there a friend in a D3 got stuck on one of the submerged rocks which resulted in a damaged gearbox sump and a very expensive repair.

Anyway lets get back onto the huts theme & try this one -

A bit quiet here ATM but I need this one to be solved today as I'm away again tomorrow and won't have reliable internet connection. So here's another 'grapgh of the hut from a different angle.
