    Ok, mound springs, best ones I reckon are near Curdimurka or if you prefer the Oodnadatta track...

    Some Went dry but in recent times have recovered fairly well!
    Between William Creek and Bopeechee turnoff is the best collection... I.m.h.o.

    OK digger you're in the right area but this particular spring has a specific name and is east and a little south of the ones you've mentioned. It is also fairly close to the junction of two well known tracks, one of which you've mentioned above.
