Hmmm, Wilsons Prom is tropical compared to Lake Pedder. Gut feelings can be very good though, look where it got me with Rogers last one.

When I first saw this one I immediately thought FNQ but I needed to attend to some important tasks before I could post anything.
When I returned and saw cuppa's post re Tassie I got to thinking and well .................

I can see why you thought Freycinet Peninsula and I can also see why Wilsons Prom got a mention, but its worth following gut feelings and initial thoughts.

In order to solicit another clue from you, are you in or near the Cape Melville NP Area?

We're south of Cape Melville, but it is tropical and we are in a national park.

Is the headland Cape Tribulation?

No, but it does look a bit like it doesn't it? Fortunately this place is not so popular with the backpackers, although it does have its fair share of problematic neighbours.

We need to keep heading south.
