Well, yes. So, in fact, if cutting is correct, then it was 2/3 right, as he had the Death Railway bit right. I suspect he won as I did, by Google. I felt I had cheated a little, so I was lenient.
Now I've salved my conscience, I will be harsher next time, providing I get the chance.

I've actually been to that cutting, which is halfway between Kanchanaburi and Sanklaburi, near a waterfall, but was too slow to respond. It was in the movie The Railway Man, which I recommend.
No idea where the other cutting is though.
