The orange/yellow pennant on the LHS ship is not easy to make out but could it be a US Signal vector flag?

HMAS "Toowoomba" and "Ballarat" alongside at HMAS Cairns? My ex EWL daughter might know the pennant, but I sure don't.

I am standing at the end of Stokes Hill Rd wharf in Darwin on the 27 July this year. I assume wharf the Toowoomba and Ballarat are tied up to is part of HMAS Coonawarra.

The orange/yellow pennant has me tossed though maybe 1 / ASW relevance ?

Load the picture from your computer the normal way and post your reply. Click on the picture to open in a new tab, copy the URL of that picture. Edit your post and use the "insert picture (from URL)" function, paste the picture URL in the appropriate spot, uncheck the tick box "Retrieve remote file and reference locally" (for some unknown reason) and save. Doesn't take as long to actually do as it takes to type this.

A long way from the last one but let's try this one .............
