I knew it was in NSW as only NSW had those longitudinal planked bridges, soaked in oil before the bitumen was laid on top. Great fun in the wet and with crappy cross ply retreads that followed the gaps in the planks. Does anyone remember the bridges on the old Pacific Highway that were one vehicle wide and shared with a train line down the middle. Supposedly first vehicle on had right of way other than trains which had absolute right of way.
Oh YES, I do... Strangely, I hate the NEW Pacific more. Go figure.
