    Yes, we are in Tasmania, so that's not Mt Canobolas in the background.

    The actual location may be difficult but we are looking at a mapped road. The name of the road is what I'm after. The photo was taken sometime in the late '90s.

    Local knowledge wins. Photo was taken not long after the road was cut through, amidst a lot of controversy. Can't remember the exact location the photo was taken but it wasn't far from the start, just north of Corrina.
