Very funny. Try double tarping a 4.6 Taught, which is all I'm going to tow if I ever get out there again. Actually, sod that, it will be a reefer which I don't have a replacement seal for. Tarps are for masochists.

Sack the navigator, to date Quilpie is closest, but not close enough to the desert.

OK so closer to the desert and off the bitumen ........ maybe Eromanga?

You are making it hard for us fair weather truckies. Never been west of Quilpie up there, so I'll guess, after a quick look at the map, and say Eromanga.

Great, but Ian's a sneaky so and so.....

You both missed the turn off, but the rum at Eromanga pub will warm the cockles of your heart, on a freezing winter night. I used to load out of Eromanga.
The turn off is just out of town.
