Correct, we walked across the bridge a few months are, great to see the structure close up.
Over to you

Here's one somewhat further upstream on the same river, visited by an exploration party during the 1800's.
I'm after the name of the camp site &/or the leader of the exploration party.

A close one but sorry Steve, although it is in Dalrymple Shire and Dalrymple NP, No. 4 Camp is simply one named by the Parks and is further downstream.
Afraid I'll have to pass the baton to Baz as he has the leader of the expedition which took place some fourteen years before Dalrymple entered the area.

Where to now Baz?

Fair call, Roger.
Dalrymple did, from memory, numerically number his camps so I'm not sure if the place I'm thinking of was named by Parks. Trivially irrelevent really

Having started at the Darling Downs, I think he would have been a lot further than camp 4 by the time he reached the Burdekin.
