I've been listing to these guys a bit lately. Ghost is a swedish metal outfit, on the more 'mainstream' end of it all, but they rock pretty hard nonetheless.

Wow, just discovered this thread. Ghost, Black Sabbath and Motorhead all on one page!

Noticed QOTSA, I'm huge Kyuss fan

I lean towards stoner/psych rock such as Sleep. Heavy Sabbath influence.

    Hell yeah, brother!

So, I heard you guys like Ghost.

Their early stuff was a little too new wave for my taste.
But when Meliora came out in 2015, they really came into their own, commercially, and artistically.
The whole album has a clear, crisp sound, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the songs a big boost.

I've been a bit neglectful with keeping this thread populated. I guess I should post some examples of some of the music I've discovered in the past 6 months. Might find a new jam you like...

    Monolord
Swedish stoner doom. Heavy AF. Rust is an epic album.

    Notable songs:
0:05 Where Death Meets The Sea
    14:34 Rust

...and Empress rising, from the album of the same name.

And have a Rammstein mash-up for lulz.

    More to come...

Been listening to Om a bit lately.
Hard to explain what style they have. If I were to try, it's part middle east, part doom. Mostly good times.
I imagine them as the Indian version of Batushka.

OM was started by some of the members of the stoner doom band Sleep... another good band. Dopesmoker is a good album.

Sleep are great, also members of High on Fire, whom are awesome.
