If I had that in my house I am sure one of my girls would leave it somewhere for me to stand on in the middle of the night so I would still curse it.

Betch a it won't roll in a strait line after the first week. Or do the loop without falling down.

A mates Wife just leased one and he was raving on about how nice it was and then got ****y because I wasn't joining in on the love fest.
My comment was simple, I had nothing nice to say so I didn't.

Saturday arvo just gone he lobs up to borrow tools to fix his trailer and I ask how the Jeep is going and when he settles down a bit (He thought I was having a dig) it turns out the thing isn't going at all and was towed to a dealer because the Auto failed.
Again I said nothing but with a smirk on my face.

I'm not helping things apparently and I'm banned from visiting after teaching their kids to chant "You idiot" at the telly when they play the I bought a Jeep commercials.............
Kids think its funny, Geoff thinks its funny, I reckon its hilarious and life goes on.

My Landy mechanic here in Sydney has branched out into Jeeps as well. He was showing me one up on the hoist and the amount of modification and expense required to get them to do what the standard Defender will do.

As he said to me - Its their money going into my pocket, why would I want to stop that. He also told me that most of them come back after breaking stuff compared to a Defender.

Each to their own I suppose

I like old Jeeps, but wouldn't own a new one. Come to think of it, I wouldn't own a new Land Rover either...
