Has anyone got a car trailer?

Hi all, i have found a guy selling 3 range rovers, in very poor condition, they arent all complete, one relatively whole one, a couple of rolling chassis and tons of spare parts. I can get them pretty cheap but if i have to hire a car trailer i wont be able to afford to do it and they will be left behind for the new owners of the property. I am confident i can make up a complete vehicle out of the bits with some left over. I was wondering if someone has a car trailer or knows of someone who has a car trailer i can borrow for a small some or carton(s) of beer? Please this is important as stacey has actually allowed me to get them, if i miss out it might be a few years before the opportunity knocks again. Jason has offered to help me shift all the gear over a few trips, but we need a car trailer. Please can anyone help? Matt

Matt i hired one for $99 in Mittagong and there's a guy here in Sydney who does them for $55 to $65 so must be bloody expencive in Lithgow.

Well the u-haul mob at the caltex does them but i just rang one of the BP's who i thought has them, it turns out they do, i can get one for $123 for 48hrs, is that dear compared to sydney? Its not to bad and we could afford it for that, the $80 we save will pay for fuel. Matt

I generally pay about $100 for 24 hours - roughly.

Expensive, but far cheaper than owning one!!!

one of the guys in the club has one, he lives near me. if he's not using it on the long weekend, i can bring it up if that will suit. but i will have to check with him first. the only thing is that he uses it to transport his race car and most long weekends there is a race meeting.

When I had my tail between my legs and had to tow my Freelander from Newcastle to Canberra behind a Triton (how embarrassing)

I have found one at the BP here in town for $123 for 48hrs, but i am doing 3 trips to the central coast and back so that $123 would be a fair chunk of the diesel bill. I am just trying to cut the costs back to keep stacey happy, if i have to hire the one from the BP i will, but I would like to save the $123 for diesel. Thanks guys. Matt
