Why make you driveway dirty? Take it to the hot wash and make the bay filthy with mud then come home and give her a nice hand wash.

The way Melbourne's weather is going we will be catching up with Sydney. Hot wash bays are the way to go to save water.

I still see people hand watering their lawns. Just because the rules say you can do it at a certain time doesnt mean you have to. Its not compulsory. If having water to shower in and drink etc means having a brown lawn who gives a stuff. I havnt mowed my lawn for over 6 months, why the hell would i want to make it grow and create work. Some people have no consideration. If they made watering lawns banned and allowed you to water shrubs and gardens etc with watering can or microspray irrigation (which requires less water and is far more effective at watering gardens cause it has time to soak not run off) the water situation wouldnt be so bad. Agree totally with you Mat, it's as if they have to water their lawns becasue they're restricted to when they can. I'm sure more people in my area are watering now than when there wasn't restrictions!

But in saying that, I'd love to be able to wash the disco by hand one day. Restrictions have been around far too long.
