Mick, that reminds me of my first sighting of a fire truck as a kid.
Dads driving along going up a hill, next thing he starts to run off the road onto the nature strip, although it was a country road, so really just more road. I panicked and yelled at him thinking there was something wrong like he was falling asleep or something.
He says it's ok, and next thing this fire truck passes us . First lesson in giving way to emergency service " rights".

So, on an unpleasant topic, I just cleaned out the grease trap, which was gross, in the house we bought last year. Funny thing was I was the one cleaning it out by hand, but it was certain others who, from a distance, complained loudly about the smell. Go figure! Anyway, a great way to start the holidays - not.

Back in the Sixties my Dad had an XL Falcon,(Red with White Roof). He used to Jump in behind the fire trucks to get a bit of help through the traffic. Is that ethical Mick?
I use an old enamelled Tin Cup to clean my Grease Trap.
I'd be happy if I had some Grass in my Lawn.
    Cheers, Billy.

Not to be confused with the old enamelled Tin Cup for camping.

Should of had some crackers and faked eating from the grease trap.
Have cleaned a few grease traps over the years, never a good job. This new house and and our previous house did not have one. Which i think is is a good thing.
