How come when you buy a loaf of raisin toast it's got no raisins in it.....only sultanas?
It would hurt to call it sultana loaf.

Cheers, Billy.
Keeping it simple is complicated.
Aaaah, to counteract the sultana vs raisin debate, in our house it gets called fruity toast.
Mind you that's also illogical, as it isn't actually toast until after it has been toasted.
Is it a raisin, sultana or currant?
A raisin is a driedgrape. Raisins are produced in many regions of the world and may be eaten raw or used in cooking, baking, and brewing. In the United Kingdom, Ireland, New Zealand, and Australia, the word "raisin" is reserved for the dark-coloured dried large grape,[1] with "sultana" being a golden-coloured dried grape, and "currant" being a dried small Black Corinth seedless[2] grape.[3]

Sent by whom may I ask? How does it profit the Jelly Sender to have us challenged in this most perplexing manner?
I suspect the aspic is an evil plot to distract us from the Jelly Sender's true agenda.![]()

I would humbly suggest that the Jelly Sender is third in the pantheon of Perplexing Deities, behind the Plaiter of Fog, and the Herder of Cats.
