My Christopher's wife is Christopher too. I've often wondered how they know which tooth brush belongs to whom.

Can anyone drive a manual anymore? I had to drop off an auto Pajero today and I picked up a manual one for work. When I saw the stick I thought I might let the two people who want to use it tomorrow know because I am not sure they can drive a manual. I decided to keep the surprise for them in the morning when they want to drive to Oakey early. I will just play dumb when they ring. "What do you mean you can't drive a manual?" My ex-wife can't.

I've made both my children learn to drive and take thier tests in a manual - as I was made to by my old man. I think unless there is a medical reason you can't then you should have to. After that you can decide what car you want to drive.

At work now they only order autos because they say it could be seen as discriminatory if they supplied a manual vehicle and someone couldn't drive it if required to for thier job. Give me a break....

And, on a completely different note, look what turned up in the post today for me. My birthday present from myself.

Off to grab a bottle of Argon and some filler rods tomorrow. It's a complete kit including tungsten, etc so I can get stuck into practicing - I used to have access to a TIG at an old job but it's been many years. It's only for my multi process machine - if I need to do Aluminium my neighbour has a high frequency AC TIG and years of experience with it.

If you need to contact me please email homestarrunnerau@gmail.com - thanks - Gav.

I'm a bit rusty, but that's nothing to do with manual gearboxes.
