I don't know how many forums I am a member of but it would be over 15. This is the only one I pay for. If my thread was deleted, I'd want a refund.
Yeah well I've finished the internet and I'm 12 and what is this?

I donate to several as if I'm getting good information and support from them, I like to give a little back. Just good Karma IMO. The forum I'm referring to in my other posts didn't get anything out of me, although they may have done if the 'Forum President' as he calls himself hadn't been such a complete knob and locked every thread I started, even though my searches didn't reveal the information I was after.
He told me that I should find a similar thread and add my question to that. It all went down hill from there. It was also the way he went about it - posting 'Another thread locked because they are too lazy to use the search function' before locking the thread.
In the few days I was on there, he was the only one that ever responded to any questions asked by anyone - by locking all the threads and telling people to use the search function.
There are very few threads that have more than 1 or 2 replies, and if you sit around long enough you can see the tumble weeds blowing by. I told him to have fun with himself on the forum as he was the only active member, and he fired back that it was an extremely active forum but looking at the stats this morning, nothing has been posted in 2 days (because he deleted all my stuff threads I posted on yesterday) and at 6.30am there were exactly 0 users online (as a comparison, AULRO had 554 online as I type this post).
So, Land Rovers are more popular that ......... The other forum I was on.![]()
If you need to contact me please email homestarrunnerau@gmail.com - thanks - Gav.
I dont see an issue with posting another thread. I rarely have any luck with the search function. How does a forum every grow if people cant post new threads, all you do running a forum like that is annoy people and have them leave.
I joined a forum and he was anal about spelling and grammar, worse than Ron, he would correct them and have his corrections in red print. Then he would PM you and get angry and carry on about how many times do i have to tell you bla bla bla. Some times typing in a hurry or when you are tired or after a few bevies you make the odd speeeling mistake.
People need to lighten up.

I believe I may be a member of that forum, besides the spell crack down there is also a threat to disconnect you if you dont post at least once a month... this has lead to a "check in thread" so people post "checking in": to and go back about their business.... pretty annoying really

A friend came over today, to help SWMBO launch her new Business. Said Business is costing us a motza to set up. Sadly this means I can't even think about such joyful things as buying a 101.
To rub salt into the wounds, said friend has written a book and forced me to buy it on Amazon....3 times!!
More salt is beng rubbed in as I write this. Bloody business had better make some moolar.
Cheers, Billy.
Keeping it simple is complicated.
