In Thailand they give their kids English nicknames. Not English names, just English words.
So there were kids called coke, cake, and "no name".

As a kid I enjoyed the Thunderbirds. As an adult I find it more enjoyable. It's hard to believe that I never saw the strings or realised how amateurish the production and plots were.
I recall one episode where Lady Penelope was uncontactable, due to the fact that one of her sheep was lost, on her Australian sheep farm. [bigrolf]

I think we accepted poor standards by today's benchmarks because we didn't have any other measurement to go by until those benchmarks caught up.
Mind you, some of the high tech effects, story lines & "whooshing" background noises are crap I can well do without.
