How in the hell did he ever think he was going to outrun the cops? Demolition Derby?

Maybe he was running late for his dinner & wifey or someone else's wifey..

But I would have been wrong, right?

Edit. Hang on a mo, the cops were behind him not in front clearing the way. Sometimes I amaze myself with my powers of observation.
