Probably right - they wouldn't want the Hilux to lose its perceived 'Unbreakable' status. I'm not convinced the 2.8 diesel is going to live a long and happy life like the 3.0 predecessor either. I've got to get 2 more years from this vehicle and I doubt I'll look at buying it from the fleet company after that which I was half considering at some stage.

Haven't had any issues with the 3l in any of the vans,not even DPF issues,yet.
They are really good on fuel,for what they are,box on wheels,and the weight they carry,almost on GVM.
Better than the BT 50 we have and markedly better around town than the D4.
The new model now has the 2.8,and the petrol engine is now the Kluger 3.5,so it will drink like a drunken sailer[biggrin]
Yep, the 3l is a much better engine than the 2.8

the Appleton Executive Rum I just had was quite enjoyable.
the 2nd one was even better.
They where the best ribs ive ever had, ill definitely be char grilling them again.
Could even pull it off camping if you had the time [emoji848]
