I took the big step yesterday and submitted my resignation, effective September 20. So that's great.
Retirement is looking good. We will halve our income, but eliminate all debts, so according to our financial plan we should be fine. If not, I'll be looking for bulk discounts on baked beans and dog kibble. [emoji16]
First trip already planned. We have to attend a birthday party at Lawn Hill NP on September 27, so that gives a week to do 2132 kms. Easy.

I should have mentioned that after Lawn Hill we will be on the road up north until early December.
Maybe some kind of pre-Christmas do might work?
We're also considering Tassie in February-April, so lots of travel on the horizon.
Another day, another table 8 gathering. This time an early Father’s Day and Sons partners birthday. [emoji106]
