In summer i usually average 45 calls a day,some very rarely go over 60 minutes,they are usually the social calls[tonguewink]

Then,when not driving, theres TXT to sort out,emails to answer,and we use messenger to communicate between techs,so the phone gets an absolute hammering.And theres our service program as well.

They have certainly come a long way since the old Voxon 2002,the old brick...[biggrin]

I have actually started to take my iPad with me all the time lately, as its easier on my eyes.

Now i am showing my age[bigsad]

Ahh, we use a tablet for our jobs.
The app is ABM, and we need to use the Woolworths FM app on the tablet too.
It's much easier than trying to use the apps on the phone.

My first phone was an NEC in car jobby in 1991, then a Motorola MicroTac flip phone in 1994.
I really thought I was Joe Cool then. [emoji23]

What a hell of an adventure that would've been.

It's a good yarn. Many pages of info about how to prepare Land Rovers and others (no Toyota mentioned) for London to Australia through Turkey, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan,and India. City route is Istanbul, Ankara, Erzincan, Erzurum, Tabriz, Tehran, Gorgan, Mashed, Herat, Kandahar, Kabul, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Delhi, Agra, Benares Calcutta. Lots of other tips. The author Jack Jackson was former British Army and had been everywhere. Published in 1979. Fascinating.
