Bit early to go outside - who wears socks inside given the nice warm (heated) floor?

Actually, I'm feeling a bit 'under the thumb' today, but the lovely Dr Charlotte has given me some antibiotics, which I hope start to work soon, because right now it's throbbing.
She also froze a lump on my chest, which is now itchy. I'm falling apart!
The only good thing is I have an excuse for not painting (in the rain).![]()

What did you do to your thumb?

Actually, I don't remember doing anything.
I just woke up and it was a bit sore and then it kept getting worse, despite treating with Betadine and Ichthammol. Now taking Amoxycillin.
Dr Charlotte said the bone is close to the surface in the quick of the thumb, so it can more easily get infected.
Its still ruddy painful, I can tell you. I bumped it and nearly fainted with the pain. Hope the antibiotics work quickly.
