eggs get laid, do chicks get laid?
some do , others are chicken...
The son lost I think it was nine chickens to a fox early one day,a few months ago.
The sequence of events was at dawn, and caught on his security cameras.
Eventually the fox trotted off with out a chicken,
Many were maimed, their legs broken but not killed.
I had been telling him for ages to put them away at night, but that fell on deaf ears.
His two dogs,a Koolie and a Border/ Kelpie cross also unfortunately missed the action.
He now has Deer turning up all hours of the day and night stirring up the dogs.[biggrin]
Not only that, but it saves a fortune on clutch repairs. Scania was the same. And now, most big mobs put in AutoShift RoadRangers in the American stuff for the same reasons, and to prevent transmission failures from "driver abuse"[bigwhistle]
My old boss used to sook about us using cruise in his trucks because of consumption concerns. The R730 I drove could show litres/100 KM in the display, and I could get better results than him, when he used the pedal and I used cruise.
Truck builders have emission targets to reach, just like cars.
As for local, OptiCruise was a breath of fresh air. The loud pedal is part of the computer so pushing it through the floor only caused leg cramps. In a manual Double you'd change gears eight times and if you were more than three cars back you'd still miss the lights. The whole "auto" thing sort of encourages you to relax and let it happen.
